Hello. It's been a while.

I'm guessing nobody other than the people I've shared this link with are reading this, but this marks my return to this website.

For a while I had wanted to do a huge makeover of this place, and maybe I still will, but for now I've just ported the blog to Zonelets to make the process of making new pages easier.

Over the past couple years, I've been watching more film and TV than usual, and I feel that I've improved the way I watch and critique media. Therefore, as a project to get me in the rhythm of using this blog, I will be posting reviews in a series I'm calling "A Wes Craven Halloween". This idea was inspired by an online friend of mine who is watching every John Carpenter movie this October. I've never seen any movies in the Nightmare on Elm Street series, and only the first Scream film. Over the rest of October, I will try to watch the seven main installments in the Nightmare on Elm Street series, and the first four Scream movies. While most of the Elm Street films weren't directed by Wes Craven, he did direct the first one and New Nightmare, so I feel the name for this series still fits.

The next blog post will hopefully be a review on the original A Nightmare on Elm Street directed by Wes Craven.
