Hello anyone reading, figured I'd just post a small update here to talk about some changes that may come soon.

First of all, I am working on a proper redesign of this website. I'm having a hard time trying to come up with the actual design, as I'm having a hard time thinking of any ideas I truly like. This redesign will largely be focused on making the front end look different, as I don't really feel the Pokémon aesthetic fully fits with my sensibilities. I still love Pokémon, but I don't want to make it seem like it's my whole personality. Changes might be incrimental, but the blog portion of the site will largely remain the same. I made the switch to Zonelets last year, and this blog format works really well for me.

Secondly, I do want to post more long form reviews on this blog in the future. I've been using Letterboxd for a while now to note down my quick thoughs on movies as I've seen them, but I do want to have a place to go more in-depth. I'm not sure if they'll just be single movie blog posts, or if I try something like my unfinished Wes Craven Halloween series, but they will hopefully become more regular. Video game analysis will also happen whenever I play something I think is really worthy of talking about.

Finally, I've cleaned up some of the site's pages to make everything more clean as I gear up for the proper redesign. Stay tuned for other small site updates (maybe even a chat room) as I continue working on this project.
